Product Overview

 The RBVS Retrofit Ball Valve Switch is engineered to supervise the fully open position of ball valves used in fire sprinkler systems. Designed specifically for retrofit applications, it mounts directly onto ½" to 2" ball valves commonly found on backflow preventers and alarm trim piping for dry, deluge, and alarm check valves. The switch activates when the valve handle moves from its open position, automatically changing contact state to signal a supervisory condition. Its weatherproof NEMA 4 enclosure, optional cover tamper switch, and robust mounting hardware ensure reliable performance and code-compliant installation across diverse environments.
