Product Overview

The Fiplex by Honeywell BDA-NM-RG8-08-NM is a commercial-grade, 24-inch flexible RG8 coaxial cable jumper engineered for Public Safety Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Emergency Radio Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES). Featuring pre-terminated N-Type Male connectors on both ends, this high-performance interconnect cable provides a low-loss, reliable pathway for first responder radio signals. The rugged cable assembly is enclosed in an outdoor-rated, UV-resistant jacket designed to withstand demanding environments while routing signals efficiently through enclosures, donor antenna links, and system modules. Operating over a broad 0 to 6 GHz frequency spectrum with a stable 50-ohm impedance, this jumper ensures that critical communication infrastructure maintains structural alignment with NFPA 72 and local fire safety codes.

Key Features

  • High-performance, 24-inch (2-foot) flexible RG8 coaxial interconnect jumper designed for public safety BDA and ERCES applications.
  • Factory-terminated N-Type Male to N-Type Male connectors utilizing gold-plated center brass pins for optimal conductivity.
  • Broad operational frequency bandwidth covering 0 to 6 GHz to support multi-band emergency radio configurations.
  • Low Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) and low insertion loss to safeguard signal integrity and prevent internal reflections.
  • Equipped with a robust, outdoor-rated, UV-resistant PVC outer jacket ensuring long-term mechanical stability.
  • Engineered to support compliance protocols for NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) system distribution networks.
