Product Overview

The Fire Sentry by Honeywell FS7-2173-2RP is a "Unitized" stand-alone multi-spectrum electro-optical flame detector designed specifically for semiconductor cleanrooms and wet bench manufacturing environments. Featuring an acid-resistant, leak-proof polypropylene housing, it utilizes WideBand IR, Near IR, and Visible light sensors to detect both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires (including polypropylene and IPA). Unlike the standard model, the unitized -2RP version operates entirely independently on 24 VDC power using built-in, non-latching discrete Alert and Alarm relays to interface directly with any standard fire alarm control panel.
