Product Overview

The Gentex H-Series (specifically the 120-H) is a high-quality, 120VAC 60Hz heat alarm designed for residential and commercial applications where smoke detection is impractical, such as kitchens, garages, or furnace rooms. This unit provides a dual-action response, utilizing both a 135°F Fixed Temperature sensor and a Rate-of-Rise element (15°F/min) to detect rapidly growing fires. When an alarm condition is met, the unit produces a piercing 85dB Temporal 3 signal. The H-series is interconnectable with other Gentex tandem-capable smoke and heat alarms, ensuring that if one unit detects a fire, all units in the dwelling will sound.
