Product Overview

The IDP-FIRE-CO-W and IDP-FIRE-CO-IV are plug-in addressable combination detectors that provide both fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection in a single device. Designed for life safety applications, these units integrate multiple sensing technologies to deliver advanced fire detection while reducing nuisance alarms.

The detector incorporates four sensing elements smoke, CO, heat, and infrared light/flame detection, to identify multiple fire characteristics. Advanced algorithms analyze inputs from all sensors to enhance sensitivity to real fire events while increasing immunity to nuisance particulates. For CO detection, a dedicated electrochemical sensing cell provides a separate, reliable signal for life safety carbon monoxide monitoring.
