Product Overview

The VESDA Sensepoint XCL-LB-H2-RM is an aspirating gas detector specifically configured for the detection of Hydrogen with a measurement range of 0–1000 ppm. Designed for "Large Bore" (LB) 25 mm or 1-inch ASD pipe networks, it is primarily used for early leak detection in applications like battery charging rooms, data centers (UPS rooms), and hydrogen storage facilities. As a Relay Model (RM), it provides three internal relays (Fault, Alarm 1, Alarm 2), allowing for the direct automated activation of emergency exhaust fans. The unit utilizes the ASD fan to pull air samples to the sensor, providing much faster and more reliable coverage than traditional passive "point" detectors in high-airflow environments.
