Product Overview

 The Wheelock E50SB-W is a white surface backbox designed for E50 Series speakers. It provides a secure and aesthetically clean mounting solution for high-output speakers used in emergency voice communications and tone signaling systems. The E50 Series delivers clear, intelligible sound and, when paired with strobes, offers visual notification to alert the hearing impaired.

This backbox mounts to standard 4½” x 2-1/8” electrical boxes without requiring extension rings and includes a speaker mounting plate for faster installation. The grille cover snaps on for a sleek appearance with no visible screws. Surface installations are supported with the included attractive backbox.

• High-efficiency sound output across 400–4000 Hz frequency range
• 24 VDC strobes produce 1 flash per second; operates with 16–33 V UL regulated voltage (filtered DC or unfiltered VRMS)
• Synchronizes with Wheelock SM, DSM, or PS-12/24-8CP and PS-12/24-8MP power supplies via built-in sync protocol
• Easy installation with IN/OUT screw terminals for #12–#18 AWG wires
• Snap-on grille cover ensures clean, screw-free appearance
• Mounts to standard 4” square x 2-1/8” deep electrical boxes without extension ring
