WHEELOCK ELSPKW-AL
Product Overview
Eaton’s Wheelock Eluxa speakers are engineered to deliver high-quality audio performance, while the speaker-strobe versions incorporate advanced, energy-efficient LED technology paired with a wide selection of candela options for both wall and ceiling installations. Offering the broadest frequency range on the market (300–8000 Hz), the ELSPK speakers and ELSPST speaker-strobes provide exceptional clarity for voice alerts, tone signals, mass notification, emergency messaging, and fire alarm systems.
The LED strobe design significantly reduces power consumption across every candela setting, enabling more devices to operate on a notification appliance circuit and reducing power supply needs. Wall-mount strobes offer candela selections of 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, and 185 cd, while ceiling-mount versions provide 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 177 cd.
With one of the smallest form factors in the industry, Eluxa devices blend seamlessly into interior environments. They support dual-voltage operation (25/70 VRMS), include field-selectable wattage taps from 1/8 to 2 watts (5W at 70V), and allow for pre-wiring and pre-testing via a hinged mounting plate no tools required for adjustments. All speaker and speaker-strobe models operate at 24V.
Eluxa strobes comply with the NFPA 72 (2016) requirement for 20-millisecond light pulse duration, enabling LED and xenon strobes to coexist in the same field of view. These appliances are listed under UL 1971, UL 1638, UL 1480, and CAN/ULC-S526/S541, are RoHS-certified, and contain no mercury or hazardous materials. They are UL/ULC approved for use with all Fire Alarm Control Panels compatible with Wheelock RSS and Exceder LED3 platforms, allowing mixed installation with a wide range of Wheelock strobe families.
