Product Overview

The Potter PTS-C is a plug-type supervisory switch engineered to monitor sprinkler system control valves and secure gates or other applications. The unit is particularly effective for unusual conditions such as non-rising stem valve configurations. The device features a NEMA 6P rated enclosure enabling outdoor mounting in environments subject to flooding, including pits and wells. Sealed reed switch technology virtually eliminates contact corrosion for reliable long-term operation. The tamper detection mechanism activates when the valve wheel is turned, pulling the plug from the receptacle. The plug cannot be reinserted until the receptacle cover is removed using the provided special hex key, which should remain with the building owner or responsible party. Replacement cover tamper screws and hex keys are available for maintenance requirements.
