The SAFEPATH Remote Microphone (SPRM) is a supervised, handheld push-to-talk microphone designed for seamless integration with the SP40S system. It can be installed up to 2,000 feet from the main unit, allowing flexible placement in remote locations. When activated, the SPRM automatically overrides background music and general paging to ensure clear, prioritized communication. The remote microphone operates at priority level 2, while the SP40S onboard microphone remains priority level 1.
