Product Overview

The Xtralis XCL-LB-CO2PP-RA is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL Large Bore Carbon Dioxide detector designed for CO₂ monitoring from 1,000 to 5,000 ppm. By using the VESDA ASD pipe network, this detector provides multi-point aspirated gas sampling, offering broader coverage and faster detection than traditional point-type devices. This combined smoke and gas detection approach enhances both occupant protection and process safety.

The detector integrates directly into the ASD pipe network and includes the main sensing module (with a pre-installed CO₂ sensor cartridge), a flow cap, and elbows for in-line installation. With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, installers and maintenance teams can use the Sensepoint mobile app for commissioning, configuration, diagnostics, calibration, and bump testing, streamlining the entire service process.

Designed for reliability in demanding environments, the XCL-LB-CO2PP-RA features 4–20 mA output, configurable relays, and optional Modbus RTU, enabling flexible integration with HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS), process controllers, and fire alarm panels.
