FSEX-24PMC-MOD FEDERAL SIGNAL
Product Overview
The Federal Signal FSEX-24PMC-MOD is an explosion-proof, high-intensity strobe light featuring a Voltage In-rush Limiting PCB ("-MOD") and a Clear Lens ("-C"). This specialized 24 VDC visual signal is engineered for hazardous locations where flammable vapors or gases may be present. The "-MOD" factory modification is critical for fire alarm applications, as it limits high-surge currents that can cause nuisance "over-current" faults on sensitive notification appliance circuits (NACs). The unit is housed in a copper-free aluminum body with a red epoxy powder coat and is rated for Type 4X, IP66, and IP69K, ensuring survival in high-pressure wash-down and corrosive marine environments.
