Product Overview

The Honeywell IDP-Zone is an addressable two-wire interface module designed for use with Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). It enables the FACP to interface with and monitor conventional two-wire smoke detectors, allowing integration of existing devices in retrofit or upgrade projects.

The module transmits the status of an entire zone of two-wire detectors to the FACP, reporting conditions as normal, open, or alarm. The IDP-Zone supervises both the detectors and the connection of the external power supply to ensure reliable operation.
