 The System Sensor SS-PHOTO is a photoelectric smoke detector featuring a redesigned optical chamber optimized to detect smoke from a wide variety of combustion sources, in compliance with current fire code requirements. The detector’s sensitivity can be adjusted through control panel programming to match the specific environment. SS-Series detectors are compatible with Fire-Lite ES Series and Silent Knight 6000 Series addressable systems using the latest firmware, simplifying inventory management for integrators working with both system types.

The SS-PHOTO is a plug-in sensor that combines a photoelectric sensing chamber with addressable analog communication, transmitting an analog representation of smoke density to the fire alarm control panel. Rotary switches allow easy configuration of the device’s address.
