Product Overview

The 5815RMK Remote Mounting Kit is designed to streamline system expansion by allowing up to two 5815XL SLC expanders to be installed within a single enclosure. This solution provides a clean and efficient way to increase addressable capacity in IntelliKnight fire alarm systems while optimizing cabinet space and simplifying installation.

When integrated into an 5820XL or 5820XL-EVS system, the kit supports additional addressable points, accommodating SK modules, SK detectors, or SD devices, while maintaining full compatibility with the panel’s SLC functionality. Communication with the control panel occurs over the RS-485 system bus, with a dedicated LED indicating proper data transmission. The 5815RMK is ideal for both new installations and retrofit applications, offering reliable performance on most standard wiring infrastructures.
