Product Overview

The 5600 series mechanical heat detectors provide versatile solutions for a wide range of applications. Available in single- and dual-circuit models, these detectors support low- and high-temperature ratings and operate with either fixed-temperature or combination fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise (ROR) activation. The ROR element on combination models is resettable, allowing for convenient field testing.

For installation flexibility, the 5600 series can be mounted on single-gang or octagonal back boxes, and also supports four-square back boxes using a square-to-round plaster ring. The reversible mounting bracket allows for both flush and surface mounting. A post-activation collector provides a visual indication when the detector is triggered.
