Product Overview 

The Gentex AVSM-R is a Red synchronization control module designed to provide a "single-pair" wiring solution for synchronized fire alarm notification. This module allows for the synchronization of Gentex strobes (1Hz flash rate) and the temporal 3 pattern for horns over a single pair of wires. Critically, the AVSM-R enables independent horn silence; when wired correctly, a fire alarm panel can silence the audible notification while the strobes continue to flash, fulfilling ADA and local code requirements. This model is finished in a textured red faceplate to match standard fire alarm aesthetics and is designed to mount to a standard 4" square deep electrical box.

• Compatibility: Exclusively for use with Gentex synchronized notification appliances (Commander 2, 3, 4, etc.).
• Mounting: Requires a 4" square (101 mm) x 2.125" (54 mm) deep backbox.
• Slave Mode: Can be "slaved" to additional AVSM modules to synchronize an unlimited number of notification zones within a single building.
