Product Overview

 System Sensor Select Series detector bases include standard 4" and 6" models and specialty bases: relay, isolator, sounder, and low-frequency sounder. Standard plug-in bases feature screw terminals for power (+/−) and remote annunciator connections. The 4" base is compact; the 6" base fits larger junction boxes.

Specialty bases use a separate mounting plate for pre-wiring, faster installation, and improved appearance.

Relay bases (B224RB) provide a Form C relay for auxiliary functions like door release and elevator recall, with selectable short- (60–100 ms) or long-delay (6–10 s).

Isolator bases (B224BI) maintain SLC operation during short circuits by isolating faults and automatically restoring the loop.

Sounder and low-frequency bases meet UL 268/464 and NFPA 72 requirements. Low-frequency bases (520 Hz ±10%) effectively wake sleeping occupants, including those with hearing loss.
