Product Overview

 The i4 Interface Module allows up to 12 i4 Series or compatible i3 Series smoke detector models to be connected to a fire alarm control panel using only 2 to 3 zones: a smoke zone, a CO zone, and an optional trouble zone. Detectors provide ANSI Temporal 3 signaling for smoke events and Temporal 4 signaling for CO events. When one detector enters alarm, all interconnected detectors sound, ensuring a high level of occupant notification.

Designed for ease of installation, the i4 Interface Module mounts to a 4-11/16 in. square back box and features durable terminal blocks with SEMS screws for reliable connections. Pre-drilled holes allow simple mounting inside a metal enclosure. LED indicators provide clear status of loop conditions, including normal operation, wiring faults, smoke and CO alarms, maintenance, and end-of-life conditions. The module enables communication between i4 and compatible i3 detectors (2WTA-B and 4WTA-B) and any listed fire alarm control panel approved for use with this module.
