The CoilKeeper Solenoid Supervisory Switch (CSS) electronically supervises the position and condition of a solenoid coil in preaction and deluge fire protection systems, meeting National Fire Protection Association NFPA 13 requirements. It verifies whether the coil is installed on the valve stem and activates a normally open dry contact if the coil is removed, allowing connection to a supervisory circuit on the releasing control panel. Built-in LEDs provide clear local indication of coil status, maintenance condition, and releasing circuit activity, helping technicians avoid accidental system activation.
