Product Overview

 The D4240 photoelectric duct smoke detector is a 4-wire device with a pivoting housing that fits square or rectangular footprints and mounts to round or rectangular ductwork. It operates in airflow speeds of 100–4,000 fpm, temperatures of –4 to 158 °F, and 0–95% non-condensing humidity. Plug-in sensor heads provide false-alarm immunity and simplified installation, testing, and maintenance. InnovairFlex® housings offer ample wiring space, 3/4-inch conduit knockouts, and built-in short-circuit protection. Up to 50 detectors can be interconnected for multi-fan shutdown, with the alarm triggered only on the sensing detector.
