Its NEMA 4 rated enclosure protects against windblown dust, rain, and hose-directed water, making it suitable for outdoor and demanding indoor applications. The detector operates across a wide range of air velocities, temperatures, and humidity levels, ensuring dependable smoke detection in challenging conditions. A pivoting housing allows flexible installation on square or rectangular footprints and on round or rectangular ductwork. The built-in cover tamper feature signals a trouble condition if the cover is removed or improperly installed, enhancing system integrity.
