The FE-16219 is an industrial flameproof (Ex d) triple infrared (IR3) multi-spectrum flame detector belonging to the specialized Talentum high-performance hazard detection family. Engineered explicitly for severe, volatile environments prone to extreme thermal stress, this high-ambient model maintains continuous fire monitoring across an elevated temperature threshold reaching up to +85 degrees C. Utilizing three discrete optical sensors targeting distinct infrared wavelengths, the FE-16219 distinguishes the low-frequency flicker (1 to 15 Hz) of active combustion from complex false alarm variables like pulsating sunlight, reflective machinery glare, or artificial illumination. Encased in a rugged, red copper-free aluminum alloy explosion-proof shell, the unit reliably identifies both bright hydrocarbon fuel fires and invisible non-hydrocarbon emissions (such as hydrogen) even when the main viewing window is compromised by heavy accumulations of industrial dust, oil mist, or moisture condensation.
