The Space Age Electronics FE-3000-115 Fireray® 3000 Explosion-Proof Optical Beam Smoke Detector is designed for early smoke detection in hazardous environments where explosive atmospheres may be present. The system uses separate UL-listed infrared transmitter and receiver units to monitor a beam path and detect smoke by measuring reductions in signal strength caused by obscuration. With a detection range from 33 ft to 262 ft (10 to 80 meters), the detector provides reliable coverage for large industrial areas. The system also includes laser-assisted alignment and a remote controller for configuration, testing, and maintenance from a safe location.
