Product Overview

The HSM2HOST9 is a hardwired, bus-connected PowerG wireless host transceiver module engineered specifically to operate within the 912–919 MHz frequency band, integrating full bidirectional wireless architecture into PowerSeries Neo and PowerSeries Pro security setups. By connecting directly to the control panel's standard 4-wire Corbus data network, this transceiver functions as a centralized high-capacity RF gateway. It is an ideal installation choice when deploying non-RF standard hardwired keypads, safely bridging wireless endpoints to the panel over an encrypted channel. The module supports a maximum framework of up to 128 wireless zones, 16 wireless keypads, 16 wireless sirens, and 32 wireless key fobs or panic pendants based on the baseline capabilities of the host system.

Key Features

  • 915 MHz PowerG RF Spectrum: Purpose-built for the North American 915 MHz wireless band, employing advanced Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) to bypass environmental blockages and localized radio interference.
  • 128-Bit AES Communication Security: Encrypts all incoming and outgoing wireless packets to deliver military-grade data protection against digital hacking, code-sniffing, or signal spoofing.
  • Massive Wireless System Footprint: Actively supervises and processes security data packets from up to 128 wireless zones, 16 wire-free keypads, 16 wireless sirens, and 32 key fobs simultaneously.
  • TDMA Clock Synchronization: Deploys Time Division Multiple Access technology to schedule specific transmission windows for all paired devices, completely preventing overlapping signals and data collisions.
  • Adaptive Signal Power Management: Automatically measures the distance of field-deployed peripherals to scale down transmission energy when near the hub, dramatically boosting sensor battery life up to 8 years.
  • Long-Range Architectural Penetration: Achieves exceptional line-of-sight communication distances up to 2 km (1.24 miles), eliminating the need for expensive wireless repeaters in large commercial or multi-story structures.
