PAD300-DUCT POTTER
The Potter PAD300-DUCT is an analog addressable photoelectric duct smoke detector engineered to sample airflow within commercial HVAC ductwork systems using the Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol. Operating on a 24 VDC signaling loop with a low 300 µA standby current,
it supports a wide air velocity range from 300 to 4,000 feet per minute. The assembly features a durable gray plastic housing (13.5" L x 4.5" W x 2.25" H) complete with a clear cover, an integrated cover tamper switch, and a pre-installed PAD300-DD photoelectric detector head set to a fixed 2.5%/ft sensitivity threshold.
It utilizes a two-tube air-sampling configuration via standard STN series snap-in sampling tubes and supports Class A, Class B, and Class X wiring options. The unit is UL 268A Listed for duct applications and UUKL Listed for smoke control.
