PDC-122000 M8 POWER SONIC
Product Overview
The Power Sonic PDC-122000 M8 is an ultra-high-capacity, valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery utilizing Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology. Part of Power Sonic's dedicated Deep Cycle (PDC) series, this heavy-duty 12V battery is engineered to deliver a nominal capacity of 215.0Ah (at the 20-hour rate) or 200.0Ah (at the 10-hour rate). Formulated with a specialized heavy-duty plate paste design and advanced grid chemistry, it is engineered for extreme cyclic applications requiring repeated deep discharge recovery without structural memory degradation. Outfitted with heavy-duty M8 female threaded insert terminals, this high-mass cell provides long-term energy storage stability across extensive solar arrays, wind turbine storage banks, commercial marine networks, and industrial backup systems.
Key Features
- True Deep-Cycle Paste Chemistry: Infused with specialized paste additives and thick plates to guarantee excellent capacity retention and rapid recharging during deep cyclic discharge profiles.
- Heavy-Duty M8 Termination: Built with secure, low-profile M8 female threaded inserts (T11) supporting a torque specification of 11.0 to 14.7 Nm for tight, low-resistance connections.
- Dual Capacity Ratings: Certified to deliver a nominal 215.0Ah at the 20-hour discharge rate (10.75A to 10.8V) and 200.0Ah at the 10-hour discharge rate (20.0A to 10.8V).
- High Mass Frame: Possesses an approximate physical weight of 137.13 lbs (62.2 kg) within a footprints size of 20.55" (L) x 9.45" (W) x 8.58" (H).
- Maintenance-Free Structure: Completely spill-proof, valve-regulated VRLA structure allows installation in various orientations without fluid leaks or cell watering requirements.
- Impact-Resistant Enclosure: Housed inside a rugged ABS plastic case and cover rated to UL94:HB standards, shielding components against severe physical impacts and acoustic vibration.
