Product Overview 

The TX3-CX-1NP-256 is a single-door access control module designed as part of Mircom's TX3-256 series. This version was introduced to address supply chain shifts and features a modified internal architecture that differs from the original TX3-CX-1 series. Most notably, this "-256" model does not have a built-in proximity reader and lacks native Power over Ethernet (PoE) and IP capability. It is designed to be networked exclusively via RS-485 or integrated into an IP network using a separate external IP module. It mounts to a standard single-gang electrical box and manages one door with support for external Wiegand readers.
