Product Overview

The VSR-FEX-3 by Potter is a vane-type waterflow switch designed for wet sprinkler systems in indoor, outdoor, and hazardous locations. It is suitable for use as a sectional waterflow detector on large systems. The unit includes two SPDT snap-action switches and an adjustable, instantly recycling pneumatic retard. The switches activate when a flow of 10 gallons per minute (38 Lpm) or more occurs downstream, after overcoming the selected retard period.

The VSR-FEX-3 features a cast aluminum housing with factory-installed gasket and a non-corrosive sleeve in the saddle. The enclosure is NEMA 4 rated and suitable for use with standard conduit fittings. The device is designed for high reliability in hazardous locations.
