Product Overview

 The Wheelock Eluxa horns, horn strobes, and strobes by Eaton feature advanced energy-efficient LED technology, providing a full range of low and high candela settings for indoor wall and ceiling-mount applications. Housed in sleek, modern enclosures, the low-profile design blends seamlessly with building interiors.

Eaton’s LED technology achieves industry-leading low current draw, reducing overall power consumption. As the first notification appliances to use LED as the light source, Eluxa’s optical design maximizes efficiency, allowing more devices per circuit and fewer power supplies, which lowers both installation and operating costs.

All strobe models offer six candela settings:

• Wall models: 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, 185 cd
• Ceiling models: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, 177 cd
   

Eluxa devices are feature-rich, combining multiple functions in one: 6 candela settings, 3 horn patterns (Continuous, T3, T3/T4), pre-wire/pre-test via hinged mounting plate, single-gang design for wall models, and tool-free setting adjustments. The ELST strobe, ELHS horn strobe, and ELHN horn operate at 24V, with ELHN suitable for 12V applications.

Approvals and Synchronization
 Eluxa strobes meet the 20 millisecond light pulse duration required by the 2016 edition of NFPA 72, allowing LED and xenon devices in the same field of view. They are listed under UL Standards 1971, 1638, and 464, and CAN/ULC-S525 and CAN/ULC-S526. Fully RoHS compliant, they contain no mercury or other hazardous substances. Eluxa devices are compatible with all FACP and accessories certified for Exceder LED3 and Wheelock RSS strobe-based products, including RSS, CH, E, EH, ET, ST, HS, MT, S8, SA, STH, and Z Series. Devices can be installed in the same notification zone and field of view as any Wheelock RSS or Exceder LED3 strobe models.
