The Honeywell 5800PIR-OD2 Wireless Outdoor Motion Detector is designed to provide reliable motion detection in outdoor environments. Built with a durable, weather-resistant housing rated IP55, this sensor is suitable for a wide range of exterior applications where dependable intrusion detection is required. Using advanced dual passive infrared (PIR) technology, the detector requires both internal sensors to be tripped simultaneously to declare an alarm, providing exceptional false alarm immunity. It offers a 90-degree configurable detection pattern that can be adjusted across a 180-degree field of view by swiveling the housing, covering an area up to 40 ft. As part of the Honeywell 5800 Series, the device integrates easily with multiple compatible security systems and supports convenient wireless enrollment.
