 The Wheelock Eluxa series speakers from Eaton provide superior audio performance with clear, high-fidelity sound, ensuring effective communication during emergencies. Speaker strobe models include advanced LED technology designed for energy efficiency, offering a full range of candela settings suitable for indoor wall and ceiling installations. With one of the widest frequency response ranges in the industry (300–8000 Hz), the ELSPK speakers and ELSPST speaker strobes deliver exceptional intelligibility, crisp voice messaging, and reliable tone signaling, making them ideal for fire alarm systems, voice evacuation, mass notification, and other emergency communication applications.

These devices feature a compact, low-profile design that integrates seamlessly with building interiors while providing high efficiency through minimal current draw. The units support dual voltage operation (25/70 VRMS) with field-selectable power taps from 1/8 to 2 watts (5W 70V), and installation is simplified with a pre-wire/pre-test mounting plate with hinged design, eliminating the need for additional tools. Both ELSPK speakers and ELSPST speaker strobes operate on 24V.

The Eluxa devices meet NFPA 72 2016 requirements for 20 millisecond light pulse duration, allowing LED and xenon devices to be viewed together. They are UL listed under Standards 1971, 1638, and 1480, as well as CAN/ULC-S526 and CAN/ULC-S541, and comply with RoHS standards, containing no mercury or other hazardous substances. Eluxa products are compatible with all approved Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and can be installed in the same notification zone and field of view alongside Wheelock RSS strobe models.
