Product Overview

The Eaton Wheelock Eluxa speakers and speaker strobes deliver high-fidelity audio performance designed for clear, intelligible emergency communication. Speaker strobe models incorporate advanced, energy-efficient LED technology and offer a complete range of field-selectable candela settings for both wall and ceiling installations. With the widest frequency response in the industry, 300 to 8000 Hz the ELSPK and ELSPST models provide exceptional clarity for voice evacuation, mass notification, tone signaling, and fire alarm applications.

Engineered with a compact, low-profile enclosure, Eluxa devices blend seamlessly into interior environments without disrupting décor. Each model is equipped with six candela selections in a single device, dual-voltage (25/70 VRMS) operation, and field-selectable power taps ranging from 1/8 watt to 2 watts (5W for 70V systems). Installation is simplified with a hinged mounting plate that supports pre-wire and pre-test, requiring no tools for configuration adjustments. ELSPK speakers and ELSPST speaker strobes are designed for 24V systems and are suitable for indoor wall and ceiling applications.

Eluxa strobes meet NFPA 72 (2016) 20-ms pulse duration requirements, allowing LED and xenon devices to be used within the same field of view. The series is UL listed under standards 1971, 1638, and 1480, as well as CAN/ULC-S526 and CAN/ULC-S541. All models are RoHS compliant and compatible with a wide range of Fire Alarm Control Panels and Wheelock RSS/Exceder LED3 product families.
