WHEELOCK ELSTW-N
Product Overview
The Eaton Wheelock Eluxa series of horns, horn strobes, and strobes delivers advanced LED notification technology with a complete selection of low and high candela settings for indoor wall and ceiling applications. Built with a modern, streamlined enclosure, Eluxa appliances feature a slim, unobtrusive profile that complements any interior environment.
Utilizing Eaton’s high-efficiency LED platform, these devices offer some of the lowest current consumption in the industry for dual-range candela models. This innovative optical design supports significant system-wide savings enabling more devices on a single circuit, reducing the number of required power supplies, and lowering installation and operational costs. All strobe models support six field-selectable candela settings: 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, and 185 cd for wall units, and 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 177 cd for ceiling units.
With one of the smallest footprints available, the Eluxa line integrates seamlessly into building aesthetics. Each device offers six candela options and three selectable horn patterns (Continuous, Temporal 3, and Temporal 3/4) in a single unit. Installation is simplified through a hinged mounting plate that enables pre-wire and pre-test functionality, while wall models feature a compact single-gang design that requires no tools for configuration changes. ELST strobes, ELHS horn strobes, and ELHN horns operate at 24V, with the ELHN also supporting 12V systems.
Eluxa strobes meet the NFPA 72 (2016) 20-ms pulse requirement, allowing LED and xenon strobes to coexist within the same field of view. The series is UL listed under Standards 1971, 1638, and 464, and meets CAN/ULC-S525 and CAN/ULC-S526. Fully RoHS compliant, Eluxa devices contain no hazardous materials and are UL/ULC approved for compatibility with a wide range of Fire Alarm Control Panels as well as Wheelock RSS and Exceder LED3 product families.
