Product Overview

The Wheelock Eluxa series comprising horns, horn strobes, and strobes utilizes Eaton’s high-efficiency LED illumination technology, offering both low and high candela options for indoor wall and ceiling installations. Its modern, low-profile housing provides a clean, unobtrusive look that integrates easily with different architectural styles.

Engineered for exceptional energy performance, the Eluxa line delivers the lowest current consumption in its class for devices supporting full candela output ranges. As the first notification appliances to adopt LED as the primary light source, this innovative optical design allows more devices per circuit, reduces power supply requirements, and lowers total installation and operating expenses.

Strobe variations include six selectable candela settings:

• Wall models: 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, 185 cd
   
• Ceiling models: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, 177 cd

The ELST strobe, ELHS horn strobe, and ELHN horn operate on 24V, with ELHN also supporting 12V systems.

All Eluxa strobes meet the 20 ms flash duration requirement of NFPA 72 (2016), ensuring compatibility between LED and xenon strobes within the same field of view. The product line is certified under UL 1971, UL 1638, UL 464, and CAN/ULC-S525/S526, fully RoHS compliant, and approved for use with all Fire Alarm Control Panels compatible with Exceder LED3 and Wheelock RSS-based devices.
