Product Overview

The Eaton Wheelock Eluxa series, comprising horns, horn strobes, and strobes, features advanced LED technology designed for maximum energy efficiency and superior performance in indoor wall and ceiling installations. Engineered with a modern, low-profile enclosure, Eluxa devices blend seamlessly into interior spaces while delivering reliable emergency notification. As one of the first LED-based notification platforms in the industry, Eluxa offers exceptionally low current draw across both low and high candela settings, enabling more devices per circuit, fewer power supplies, and reduced overall installation costs.

All strobe models provide six field-selectable candela options:

Wall models: 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, 185 cd

Ceiling models: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, 177 cd

Designed with one of the smallest footprints available, the Eluxa line offers a comprehensive feature set including multiple horn patterns (Continuous, T3, T3/T4), tool-free setting adjustments, a hinged mounting plate for easier pre-wire/pre-test, and compatibility with both 12V (ELHN) and 24V systems. Eluxa strobes meet NFPA 72’s 20-ms pulse duration requirement, allowing LED and xenon devices to operate within the same field of view. The series is fully UL and ULC listed, RoHS compliant, and compatible with a wide range of Fire Alarm Control Panels and Wheelock RSS/Exceder LED3 devices.
