Product Overview

 The Potter IDC-6 Initiating Device Circuit Expander (IDC-6) adds six additional supervised, power-limited input circuits to compatible fire alarm control panels. It is designed to monitor 2-wire smoke detectors or other initiating devices, including automatic, manual, waterflow, or supervisory circuits. Communication with the control system is accomplished via the PLink bus. Up to 31 IDC-6 modules can be connected per panel, providing flexible expansion for larger installations. The module can be installed within the main control panel, intelligent power supplies, or accessory cabinets (AE-2, AE-8, AE-14, or PSN-1000/E).
