The Xtralis OSE-SPW is a standard power, wired Emitter unit designed for the OSID (Open-Area Smoke Imaging Detection) system. Operating on a 24V DC input, this device is the preferred solution for installations where external power wiring is readily accessible, eliminating the maintenance associated with battery-powered units. It projects precise, dual-wavelength coded light signals (Ultraviolet and Infrared) toward an opposing Imager unit. This dual-frequency technology allows the system to distinguish real smoke from environmental interferences like dust, steam, or insects, ensuring reliable operation in large open spaces such as airports, stadiums, and warehouses.
