Product Overview

 The i3 series detectors feature a plug-in design with pre-wirable bases, large wire entry ports, and in-line SEMS terminals for neat, efficient wiring. Bases support multiple mounting options, including octagonal, single-gang, 4-square back boxes, or direct ceiling installation. Detector heads attach with the Stop-Drop™ N Lock mechanism for quick, secure installation.

Intelligent features simplify testing and maintenance: drift compensation and smoothing algorithms reduce nuisance alarms, 2-wire models can signal maintenance remotely via the 2W-MOD2 module or compatible i3 panels, and the SENS-RDR device displays detector sensitivity. Wide-angle red/green LEDs enable instant status inspection, and the EZ Walk loop test verifies loop wiring at each detector.
