Product Overview

The 5883 Silent Knight Relay Interface Board provides ten general-purpose Form C relays designed for controlling auxiliary devices that require a dry contact closure. Common applications include voice evacuation systems, elevator recall, and HVAC fan shutdown.

Each relay is activated through an open-collector input from a controlling device, such as the 5880 LED Driver Module, allowing individualized control of connected equipment. Rated at 5.0A at 30 VDC or 250 VAC (resistive), the relays support a wide range of fire and life-safety functions.

The 5883 is housed in a durable, lockable metal cabinet that provides protection, wiring space, and restricted access for authorized personnel only. Fully UL 864 listed, the module integrates seamlessly with Silent Knight addressable fire alarm control panels.
