Product Overview

The BEAMLRK Long Range Kit from System Sensor is designed for use with reflective projected beam smoke detectors, enabling installations with separations between 230 and 328 feet (70 to 100 meters). At these extended distances, four 8" × 8" reflectors are required to ensure sufficient reflected infrared light reaches the detector. The kit includes three additional reflectors with updated test scale legends, complementing the reflector included with the transmitter/receiver unit. The BEAMLRK kit is not compatible with the multi-mount kit (BEAMMMK).

Proper installation involves mounting the four reflectors in a square pattern, keeping them as close together as possible. Test scale legends on the upper left and upper right reflectors aid in system calibration and sensitivity testing. The transmitter/receiver unit is then installed following standard beam detector instructions to complete the system setup.
