Product Overview

The EVS-50W Silent Knight Amplifier is a self-contained 50-watt distributed audio amplifier designed for use with the Silent Knight® Emergency Communication System. Engineered to deliver clear and reliable emergency voice messages throughout a facility, the EVS-50W can be installed near the protected area to reduce wiring distances and simplify system design.

Each amplifier provides 50 watts of audio power and includes its own power supply with backup battery capability. The unit features four supervised speaker circuits, expandable to eight when paired with the optional EVS-CE4 module. Up to four EVS-50W amplifiers can be added to a single EVS system, supporting large-scale voice evacuation requirements.

The EVS-50W is fully supervised by the main control panel, ensuring fast detection of faults. Installation is streamlined, no special programming or additional capture modules are required, and the amplifier may be either surface-mounted or flush-mounted depending on project needs.
