The Space Age Electronics FE-3000-103 Fireray® 3000 Optical Beam Smoke Detector is a single-channel projected beam detection system designed to protect large open spaces and high-ceiling environments. Using separate infrared transmitter and receiver heads, the system monitors the beam path and triggers an alarm when smoke obscures the signal beyond a preset threshold. The detector features a built-in laser pointer for precise alignment, automatic gain control to compensate for signal loss caused by dust accumulation, and a remote low-level controller with LCD display for configuration, monitoring, and testing. Operating on a 24 VDC 4-wire system, the Fireray® 3000 provides reliable long-range smoke detection for commercial, industrial, and architectural installations.
