HSM2HOST4 DSC
Product Overview
The HSM2HOST4 is a hardwired, bus-connected PowerG wireless host transceiver module specifically engineered to operate at the 433 MHz frequency band, adding comprehensive two-way wireless capability to PowerSeries Neo and PowerSeries Pro security systems. Connecting directly to the main control panel via standard 4-wire Corbus data cabling, this transceiver serves as the primary RF hub when hardwired LCD keypads are utilized, establishing a secure bidirectional network for field-deployed wireless sensors, sirens, and key fobs. The module features integrated front case and rear wall-mount tamper switches and stands out by supporting up to 128 wireless zones, 16 wireless keypads, and 32 wireless keys or panic pendants depending on the maximum capacity of the host control panel.
Key Features
- 433 MHz PowerG Transceiver Platform: Engineered specifically for the 433 MHz RF spectrum, deploying multichannel frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) and Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) to eliminate message collisions.
- Resilient 128-Bit AES Encryption: Secures all bidirectional wireless transmissions against digital attacks, code-grabbing tools, and signal interception.
- Massive Wireless Expansion Capacity: Dynamically manages data packets from up to 128 wireless zones, 16 wireless keypads, 16 wireless sirens, and 32 wireless key fobs.
- Adaptive Power Management: Continuously checks and optimizes sensor transmission power based on distance, maintaining robust signal paths while maximizing peripheral battery life up to 8 years.
- On-Board RF Jamming Supervision: Continuously monitors the local 433 MHz airwaves for intentional interference or environmental noise blocks, reporting an immediate panel trouble condition if a path obstruction is identified.
- Extended Structural Signal Range: Provides reliable open-air bidirectional tracking up to 2 km (1.24 miles), significantly minimizing the necessity for secondary repeater hardware in sprawling architectural layouts.
