 The OSI-R-SS is a 4-wire conventional linear optical beam smoke detector designed for fire alarm systems. Operating on the principle of infrared light obscuration, it is ideal for protecting large open spaces with high ceilings, such as warehouses, atriums, and industrial areas. This single-ended, combined transmitter/receiver unit connects directly to a conventional detector circuit, simplifying installation by requiring wiring on only one side.
