The Space Age Electronics SF-RP5225 is a quick-disconnect fitting designed for 1/2-inch capillary drop tubing networks within aspirating smoke detection (ASD) and RedPipe air sampling systems. Engineered for high-reliability commercial fire alarm and life safety installations, this specialized connector streamlines maintenance by facilitating rapid, tool-free detachment of capillary sample lines. This design allows technicians to clear blockages or replace segments without disturbing the main plenum-rated trunk piping. To ensure a proper, leak-free isolation loop and stable pneumatic pressure, exactly two SF-RP5225 quick-disconnect units are required for each individual capillary drop line deployed across the sampling zone.
