Product Overview

The SK-DUCT Silent Knight Intelligent Air Duct Smoke Detector is designed to detect smoke and products of combustion in air moving through HVAC systems in commercial and industrial applications. Using photoelectric smoke detection technology with the included SK-PHOTOR sensor, the detector provides early warning of fire conditions within ductwork.

When smoke is detected, the unit communicates directly with the fire alarm control panel, which can be programmed to shut down fans, blowers, and other HVAC equipment to help limit the spread of smoke. The SK-DUCT features a rugged steel enclosure with a clear cover and a pivoting housing that allows fast, flexible installation on both round and rectangular ducts. It is engineered to perform reliably under demanding airflow, temperature, and humidity conditions.
