The Honeywell SPXCDWP is a heavy-duty, outdoor-rated Weather Protection Cap accessory designed to shield Sensepoint XCD gas detector sensor cartridges from rain, snow, high-velocity winds, and blowing sand. Fabricated from a rugged, chemically resistant polymer compound, it mounts securely over the exposed sensor face to prevent water ingress and particulate blockages that could blind the sensor or lead to premature module failures. The cap is engineered with an integrated, passive mechanical gas test port, allowing technicians to introduce calibration or bump test gases directly to the sensor without needing to remove the weather shield.
