The Space Age Electronics SRBV Shield ECOM Remote Communication Station is an advanced, fully integrated intercom endpoint designed to connect directly with a central Shield30 master command console. Housed in a heavy-duty, silver-finished steel assembly, this unit provides building occupants with a highly secure method for establishing two-way voice communications inside Areas of Refuge and Areas of Rescue Assistance. Activating the oversized, tactile "PUSH FOR HELP" button establishes a fully supervised audio path utilizing an internal 2-watt mylar speaker shielded behind a vandal-resistant perimeter grille. The front panel features a triple-LED status matrix to provide immediate visual confirmation of power, call activation, and operator acknowledgment. Engineered to simplify field deployment, the SRBV features an innovative lift-away hinge cover and a plug-in ribbon harness that cleanly bridges the door electronics to the permanent field wiring terminal strip.
