CD-6MC MACURCO
Product Overview
The Macurco CD-6MC is a low-voltage, fixed-point Carbon Dioxide (CO2) monitor and transducer engineered specifically for indoor commercial cannabis cultivation facilities, extraction rooms, and indoor agricultural grows. Operating on 12-24 VAC or 12-32 VDC, this specialized monitor tracks CO2 levels across a range of 0 to 5,000 ppm to ensure both crop optimization and life safety compliance with local IFC (International Fire Code) and NFPA regulations. The CD-6MC can function as a completely standalone controller utilizing its onboard 5-amp relays to cycle ventilation fans, or it can operate as a system transducer transmitting real-time data to a Macurco DVP-120 panel, PLC, or building automation system.
Key Features
- Cultivation Optimization: Built explicitly for cannabis grow environments, monitoring life-safety CO2 concentrations across a range of 0–5,000 ppm.
- Low-Voltage Power: Runs on a flexible low-voltage power footprint requiring either 12–24 VAC or 12–32 VDC field wiring.
- Dual Relay Controls: Equipped with two internal 5A SPDT dry contact relays pre-configured to automatically trip exhaust fans or external strobes when gas thresholds are breached.
- Versatile Communications: Provides simultaneous 4–20 mA analog output and an RS485 Modbus RTU digital connection for seamless integration into centralized control networks.
- Code Compliant: Designed to easily satisfy local building and fire codes regarding gas enrichment monitoring systems; ETL listed to UL 61010-1 standards.
